On the edge of Dry Creek Valley, this site provides breathtaking views of distant hills and vineyards, as well as of the near lake and vineyard at the base of the property. The design is woven into the edge of the exposed ridge and the beginning forest of oaks and madrones. The space lends itself to a design that gives the clients plenty to see without being seen. Sustainability was a priority in siting, optimizing solar exposure and shading, and material selections suitable for fire protection.
